Tunbridge High School - cover

Tunbridge High School

Tunbridge High School had its origins as the Tunbridge English Nursery School which opened on 17th January 1966 with just five little pupils and one teacher. A new class was added each year thereafter until in 1984, the school was granted affiliation to the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (ICSE), New Delhi. The founder of the school, Miss Mavis Ramsbotham, ATCL, was also the Principal for the first seventeen years. Her policy of "no donations" has continued to the present day. Tunbridge is proud to have a history of excellent results each year in the ICSE examinations. The School celebrated its Golden Jubilee on 17th January 2016 completing fifty years of dedicated educational service.
