Marshall School, Dehradun is a co-educational Indian Certificate of Secondary Education school in Dehradun, the capital of the state of Uttarakhand in India. The school has been showing consistent results in both the 10th and 12th examinations ICSE. Marshall School is located on the East Canal road in Dehradun. Marshall School was founded in 1967 by Francis Russell Marshall, a British educator. He had a vision to create quality education system in Dehradun valley. He being the product of the British Public School systems and a close friend of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, Mr Marshall wanted the school to set up on the lines of Public Schools to suite the Indian conditions. For him education was a passion. Marshall School still follows his way of learning. For that reason, he found Dehradun to be an ideal place, where he made a humble start with only five students. The school prospectus contains the registration forms for boarders as well as day scholars. Written/ Aptitude tests for entrance to various classes are conducted for all the candidates seeking admission in the school. This is followed by an interview. No correspondence is entertained regarding the admission of the students who do not qualify for the preliminary test. The principal has the sole right to the admission and his decision is final and binding.
