St. Mary's School, Pune, India, was founded in 1866 to cater to the education of the daughters of officers posted to Pune, in the British Indian ArmyA private institution, St. Mary's School is entirely dependent for funding on school fees. Christian principles form the foundation and it is registered as a major school. However, admissions are open to children of all communities.Students from the school consistently secure more than 90% in the ICSE. In the 2010 ICSE examinations, the highest percentage in the school (best of 4 + English) was 98.4%, the second highest in India. Out of the total of 223 students (179 girls and 44 boys) who appeared for the examination that year, 161 students secured more than 90% (132 girls and 29 boys). In the 2013 ICSE examinations, two girls from the school came 1st in India.\nStudents from the Junior College have also performed well in the last four years with most students obtaining above 80 or 90%.The school is affiliated to the all-India Indian Certificate of Secondary Education, New Delhi.\nIn 2013, a poll conducted showed that St. Mary's School, Pune was the 6th best school in India.

St. Vincent's High School is an English Medium School founded in 1867, located in the Indian city of Pune and named after Vincent de Paul, a seventeenth-century saint known for his love for the poor and the downtrodden. Active in the field of education throughout the world since its origin, the Society runs nearly 100 high schools and over a dozen colleges in which young people of every social class, community and linguistic group, are educated through the medium of both English and the regional languages.
